finally done
so it has been less than 24 hours since my last post and i have so much to say...ok really only one thing
I AM DONE WITH SCHOOL FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it has been so fun meeting everyone up here because of being the only kid from my graduating class to come up here...everyone is new and no one is old. My first year at tech has been a blast and i cannot wait until the end of august when i make the trek back up here for another year of greatness (friends), hell(classes), and everything in between.
i cannot wait until i get back into town for the people back home...with all "the guys" going away for school/hockey...going home for the weekend hasn't been filled with the good ol times, although i have been hanging with the ladies (which isn't too shabby when you are at home watching a movie with two girls).
the only problem that i have now is that of finding a job...i have an interview at MNDOT on thursday, and i hope that one works out because it pays good, it actually pertains to civil engineering, and i wouldn't be at a desk all day...i would actually go out and do fieldwork (i think). other than that i have no work lined up as of yet...it won't be like last summer filled with sitting on my ass and trying to find a job.
another high point of the summer that is a for-sure is the french siege engine...also known as the trebuchet that is going to be built for the celebration of bastille day. it will be fricken sweet!! as soon as brooke finishes school we shall begin construction on the 13th century wmd...and fend off any invaders of 6th street in proctor...i am thinking we will be able to throw our projectile about 100 meters, depending on its weight, and if we actually build the thing correctly.
this is matt bordson signing out world...have fun...keep it real...peace
